On Dec. 10, 15 school teachers enjoyed a screening of “The Fries Rebellion” film at the Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit in Schnecksville. They appreciated the accompanying teachers guide and discussed how they might include the film in the curriculum. Teachers from East Penn, William Allen, Northwestern Lehigh school districts promptly committed to include it in social studies classes next year. We are continuing to reach out to other IUs and school districts. If you’d like children in your district to be able to see the film, please have the curriculum director contact us at: [email protected].
